Vienna Sightseeing Tours (Graf Starhemberg-gasse 25, telephone 712 4683) offers bus tours of the city and surrounding districts, daily from Apr-Oct at 9.45am, 10.30am (English-speaking tour) and 2.45pm, Nov-Mar at 9.45am and 2.45pm (English-speaking tour). The tour costs €34 and takes 3 ½ hours.

If you want something a bit different then book a city tour on a vintage 1920’s tram. You climb on board at Otto Wagner Pavillion on Karlsplatz and then rumble around the streets for an hour. Tickets can be bought on board and cost €15. It runs from May-Sep and on Saturdays leaves at 11.30am and 1.30pm and on Sundays and public holidays at 9.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm.
