CHEAP VIENNA HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Cheap Vienna Accommodation – Vienna is not the most budget-friendly city, particularly when it comes to accommodation and the most economical options can be found outside the city centre, especially in and around Neubau and Josefstadt. Hotels also get very booked up, particularly from April-October and over Christmas and New Year so make sure you reserve a room early. Prices may drop during the summer months when many of the concert halls and theatres are closed so keep an eye out for bargains at this time. Private rooms can be a good way of keeping the cost down – they can be booked through tourist offices, although they will add on a small handling fee and make sure you see the room before handing over any money in case it’s not quite what you expected. You will see pensions and hotels being advertised as places to stay; the only difference between them is that hotels take up the entirety of a building whereas pensions only occupy a few floors. Both offer similar standards of services and some of the best are recommended below. The internet is a useful way to check out what’s on offer.
